This mobile application was designed and developed for AmericanSlice, a pizza delivery service and restaurant. The objective was to create a simplified, intuitive user-experience for a wide range of users. After conducting market research and interviewing users, a clean brand identity, color palette, and basic wireframe was developed for the brand.
This mobile application was designed for AmericanSlice®, a pizza delivery service providing customers with a range of regional styles from any location. The objective was to create a simplified and intuitive user-experience, allowing customers to customize their order while also directing them towards checkout in as few steps as possible.
After conducting market research and focus groups, a clean brand identity, color palette, and basic wireframe was developed. This solution was achieved by allowing users to add additional items to their cart directly from their current order without requiring them to restart the checkout process each time an item is added. Customer information can be saved for a simplified, 3-step checkout from anywhere within the app—allowing a user to select their items, head to checkout, and place their order quickly. While sign-in provides the most optimal checkout experience, options such as changing the delivery address, updating payment information, and selecting a pre-calculated or custom tip amount can be easily adjusted at checkout as well.
